Handheld Split Ripple FX

I’ve been using the 150mm size handheld split ripple fx on my primes and it creates such a smooth, organic texture—the glass really diffuses light beautifully without looking artificial. It’s a solid build too, easy to swap between lenses during a shoot.

Finally got the 100mm version for my run-and-gun kit, and the split ripple effect is exactly the creative touch I was hoping for—build quality feels solid for handheld use. The glass is clear and the ripple pattern is perfectly subtle.

I grabbed the 150mm and it covers my whole lens without any vignetting, which was my main worry. The split ripple effect looks gorgeous on backlit subjects, and holding it by hand lets me shift the distortion mid-shot.
