Solar Flare FX Filter

Finally a filter that doesn't just add a fake streak across the lens. I shot directly into a streetlamp at golden hour and the ribbon design threw this beautiful, organic flare that moved as I panned, totally in camera. Exactly the look I've been chasing without any post-work.

Shot some backlit portraits at golden hour and the ribbon pattern turned every highlight into a soft streak of light. It's subtle enough that it doesn't swallow the frame, which was my worry with flare filters. Way more fun than adding them in post.

I was skeptical it would look fake, but the ribbon-shaped elements catch sunlight like nothing else. Pointing it at any streetlight gives me that anamorphic-style glow without post-production. Exactly the cinematic look I wanted.
